We were pleased to find out that 86% of members felt that the content of Backbone was very good to excellent. Members’ favourite sections were clearly identified as the personal accounts and features; we will now try our hardest to make the other sections just as good! There was a clear consensus of 98.6% of the members questioned who felt that the new emphasis on clear text and more images was a welcome focus. We also asked if there was anything that people would like to see added to the newsletter in the future and to give us any comments on Backbone. There were a range of fantastic comments for both questions. It was particularly clear that members would like to see more features from specialists and on research into scoliosis, more information for senior/adult members, there were some great suggestions for features (alternative therapies/exercises/pain management) and a few people who want more information on pregnancy and scoliosis. We hope to address some of these requests across the next few issues of Backbone. Thank you to all who took part in the survey. If you would like to receive Backbone, please become a member.
