SAUK receives 3K from Strongbones
The Strongbones Children’s Charitable Trust has kindly donated £3K to SAUK
In 2009, the Scoliosis Association (UK) applied to the Trust in the hope that it would fund a youth project in 2010. SAUK has recently been informed that the application has been successful! The grant will be used to fund social events for young people with scoliosis. Whether it is a day out go-karting or a visit to the theatre, young people will be able to meet each other and share experiences (having lots of fun too!)
The social events will take place over the summer of 2010 and all opportunities to take part in the project will be advertised on our website and in our newsletter Backbone.
The Strongbone’s Children’s Charitable Trust is a charity that aims to help alleviate the pain and suffering of children with scoliosis, brittle bone disease, arthritis and all other conditions of the bone. This is not the first time the charity has provided funds to SAUK and we are eternally grateful for their support.
